Where is my data stored?

Your data is vaulted within a secured data center. The data center is equipped with armed security guards and multiple levels of security authentication. Organizations such as banks, medical practices, and government entities store their data in the same facility.


Does anybody have access to my data?

No. Your data is encrypted (100 times more secure than an ATM transaction) even before it is transferred from your location to the data center. The data remains encrypted until you restore it.


Am I required to give a credit card for the free trial?

Nope. Credit cards are not required for the free trial. Simply check the box for monthly invoicing.


Do I have to jump through a lot of hoops to cancel the free trial period?

No. Simply call us or send an email to cancel-trial@automatic-backups.com. No questions asked.


Do I have to sign a contract?

No. In fact, you can opt for month to month billing and we will send you an invoice every month. So if you no longer wish to use our service, just let us know and you have no further obligations.


How long do you store my data if I cancel service?

Once you cancel service, we will keep your data for up to 15 days. However, it is recommended that you make arrangements for storage of your backups prior to cancelling service.


What if I need to restore a file?

The process of restoring is very simple. Just choose the file or files you wish to restore and the location where you would like them restored, and hit "Start".


What if I have a disaster and I don't have an Internet connection?

If you find yourself in a situation where you can't restore from the Internet, call our 24 hour toll free number. We will immediately burn your data to CD's and ship them to you overnight.
